More About Bloom International
Bloom International is a ministry under Adventures Unplugged. Our desire is for all women of all nations to know that they are loved unconditionally by God. That they know that they are beautifully and wonderfully made in his name. We do this by hosting conferences, discipleship training and mentoring in their communities.
Most of the women they work with in Southeast Asia have limited access to personal hygiene items. Due to having limited access to stores and being in a war area or refugee camp, they aren't able to care for their body. We then started the Pad Project in Northern Thailand. We had great success! We discovered that it’s not only the need for reusable pads but its also teaching the women how to truly care for their bodies. Something as American women take for granted since we are taught at a young age how to care for ourselves.
The Pad Project has put together a wonderful program but we want to do something different! We want to empower the women to not only make their own pads but we also want to give them the spiritual tools they need to continue to grow in their faith so that they can take ownership in their own communities of women they pour into!
