Over the past few weeks, we've been praying and considering how to respond to the war in Ukraine. Whenever there is a global cause, whether it's a natural disaster or war, a lot of people give to help. Often though a few months to years later those funds are gone but the amount of need has grown. We are partnering with people we already know and trust who are serving there and who will continue to serve there for years to come!
Here are three ways we are helping support Ukrainians in their time of need:

Here are three ways we are helping support Ukrainians in their time of need:
- Perception Funding partners with the largest and oldest church denomination in Belgium called Vianova and they have a sister church in Ukraine which is coordinating aid with the humanitarian aid association of Ukraine. On March 21st, a large truck left for Belgium with food, clothes, bedding, toiletries, and medical supplies. We are so thankful for everyone who helped make this happened! A brief update - over 50 tons of food have been sent, 4-6 vans are taking over food each day and more than 1300 people have evacuated.
- Vox Church is a Church in Kansas City where Perception Funding's office is located and several Perception Funding staff attend Vox and are on Vox staff as well. Vox's Youth Director, Levi, has visited to Germany at least half a dozen times in his life with his father who teaches at a seminary in Germany on and off again over 24 years. This Church of God seminary had nine Church of God churches in Ukraine, currently, seven still remain. Every day volunteers from the seminary drive to Ukraine with their cars filled with food, water, clothes and medical supplies. They deliver the supplies to one of the seven remaining churches and then return to Germany with a car full of refugees. On March 10th they brought 29 refugees to Germany. This operation will continue every day as long as the borders remain open.
- In Kansas City, FCA - Fellowship of Christian Athletes was having a conference with 30 of their staff and families from Ukraine when the war began and now they're unable to return. We are partnering with them to provide housing, transportation, and living expenses. Also in partnership with Vox Church, we hope to have all 30 Ukrainians gather at Vox for a meal sometime in the next couple of months.
