More About Women of Hope Guatemala
Women of Hope weaves the principles of business and discipleship together into the fabric of our Christian ministry in Guatemala. This 'Business for Transformation' project empowers impoverished and under-educated artisans through wholesome employment, allowing them to lead productive and accomplished lives.
Our center's loving and nurturing environment provides artisans with the opportunity to earn a dependable income. We encourage our artisans to take pride in their work and to pursue growth in their personal relationship with Christ. We empower our artisans to overcome poverty and abuse through their work and educational opportunities for themselves and their children. Women of Hope also reaches out to the community through partnerships to provide fortified rice meals to school age children and when possible, additional business development projects for widows who are supporting a family.
Our Guatemalan Women of Hope artisans craft beautiful products by hand, including a colorful collection of beaded jewelry, ornaments, hand-woven and beaded dog accessories, scarves, and more!
